What We're Looking For

As the BDC Manager, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of our Business Development Center while ensuring every customer interaction reflects the high standards of Bob Loquercio Auto Group. You will oversee a team of Business Development Representatives, drive appointment generation, monitor performance, and implement processes that maximize lead conversion and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has previous automotive dealership BDC management experience, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and understands the importance of accountability, coaching, and process consistency.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and motivate the Business Development Center team to achieve and exceed performance goals.
  • Respond promptly, professionally, and courteously to internet leads while ensuring your team follows the same high standards.
  • Utilize proven scripts, workflows, and best practices to create a consistent and exceptional customer experience.
  • Monitor and ensure all customer inquiries are entered accurately into the dealership CRM.
  • Oversee appointment generation while improving appointment show rates and sales conversions.
  • Effectively utilize CRM and lead management tools to maximize opportunities.
  • Review daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Partner closely with the Sales Management team to ensure a seamless customer experience from initial contact through vehicle delivery.
  • Compile reports, monitor team performance, and maintain accurate documentation in a timely manner.
  • Lead by example through professionalism, integrity, accountability, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • Automotive dealership BDC management experience is required.
  • Proven success leading a Business Development Center or Internet Sales Department in a dealership environment.
  • Strong understanding of automotive sales processes, CRM systems, and internet lead management.
  • Experience coaching, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams.
  • Results-driven with the ability to improve lead conversion, appointment-setting, and customer retention.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Experience working in a disciplined, process-oriented, and performance-driven dealership environment.
