Job description

We are looking for a full-time, highly motivated, results oriented individual to join our Business Development Center team and Internet dept. As a BDC Representative, you'll play a key role in the automotive sales processes.  As customers search for vehicles online, we need the best people in place to represent our dealership and be ready to assist them in their search.   

BDC Representatives are responsible for handling and answering all incoming Internet leads/inquiries via phone, email and text.  This person must be a great communicator, have a positive attitude and quickly build rapport with prospective customers. The purpose of this job will be to generate appointments for automotive prospects contacting the dealership. You should have a positive, well-spoken and driven personality.  The BDC staff work at the direction of the BDC director who provides training along with tools for success.  

Responsibilities:

  • Answer all incoming sales calls and internet inquiries. 
  • Use multiple software platforms to communicate with clients by phone, text and email
  • Follow up daily with prospective and current client base
  • Set and confirm sales appointments
  • Communicate effectively with customers and strive to generate repeat business
  • Ensures all sales targets are met or exceeded
  • Provides timely and accurate reports
  • Promotes the dealership, it’s values and its products / services on a continuous basis.
  • Excels in a fast-paced atmosphere

Qualifications:

  • Great customer service skills and motivation to successful
  • Previous call center, BDC or customer service experience a plus
  • Strong computer and phone skills
  • Appointment setting experience a plus
  • Great communication skills
  • Able to multi task and be a team player
  • Bilingual is a plus
  • High School graduate
