Job description

We're Hiring: Assistant Program Director (Part-Time) 🚨

Are you a passionate human services professional with strong leadership and mental health experience? We are seeking an Assistant Program Director to support a program serving adults who have experienced homelessness and mental illness.

📍 Position: Assistant Program Director

🕒 Schedule: Tuesdays & Fridays, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

📅 Duration: Immediate start through December 23, 2025, with potential for extension

📍 Location: New York

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Supervise case management and program staff

✔ Review consumer progress notes and service plans

✔ Ensure person-centered, trauma-informed care

✔ Support tenant intake, orientation, and transitions

✔ Coordinate with community partners and service providers

✔ Participate in crisis intervention and emergency coverage as needed

✔ Conduct staff supervision meetings and maintain documentation

✔ Ensure compliance with OMH and HUD guidelines

Qualifications:

🔹 bachelor's degree in human services (required)

🔹 Strong mental health experience

🔹 Experience supervising staff and leading meetings

🔹 Excellent organizational and documentation skills

🔹 Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Preferred:

🔹 master's degree and professional license (LMSW, LCSW, or LMHC)

🔹 Bilingual English/Spanish

🔹 Experience working with diverse populations
