Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Beaverton, OR that is seeking an experienced and passionate Apparel Designer with a strong understanding of streetwear culture, fashion trends, and product creation. This role will be responsible for designing apparel across multiple categories, contributing to seasonal collections, and helping shape the future aesthetic of the brand. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker who can translate consumer insights into compelling product concepts while working collaboratively with cross-functional partners throughout the product creation process.
Duties:
* Create innovative apparel designs across a variety of product categories, from seasonal collections to high-volume franchise products
* Develop concepts, color stories, silhouettes, graphics, and product details that align with the overall creative vision
* Build and present design concepts, narratives, and product stories to internal stakeholders
* Partner closely with Product Management, Technical Development, Materials, Color, Graphics, and Sourcing teams to bring products to market
* Translate consumer insights, cultural trends, and market opportunities into compelling apparel solutions
* Support the broader design team on additional projects and initiatives as needed
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously while contributing to product creation timelines and key deliverables
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degreee or equivalent experience
* 3+ years of experience in Apparel Product Design with Tech Packs
* Able to create a tech pack for apparel, updating techpacks and making changes to products
* Portfolios: sketches, flat drawings, PRs or tech packs
Nice to have skills:
* 3D experience, Vizcom or similar tools
* Streetwear and lifestyle apparel for mens or womens
* Software/technical requirements:
* Adobe illustrator
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
