Job description

Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer
Location: Beaverton, OR (On-site)

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team in driving the advancement and implementation of Lean, Product Quality, Industrial Engineering, and Garment Engineering principles within the manufacturing sector. Our team is focused on ensuring the highest standards of product performance and consistency while supporting strategic manufacturing initiatives across a diverse, cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead development and implementation of quality, lean, industrial engineering, and garment engineering practices to enhance manufacturing partner capabilities.
  • Collaborate with product engineering, quality engineering, advanced manufacturing engineering, and senior management to align with strategic goals and champion continuous improvement objectives.
  • Liaise with internal teams to deploy product performance standards and standardize manufacturing processes for consistency and efficiency.
  • Support issue management teams in reviewing, analyzing, and resolving product issues, as well as overseeing quality inspections and audits of post-production materials and products.

Required:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing systems engineering, quality engineering, or a related field within the garment industry.
  • Bachelor s degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related discipline; advanced degree or certifications preferred.
  • Proficiency in GSD (General Sewing Data) and factory capacity planning and management, as well as a strong command of Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Excel.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with proven experience in process improvement and implementation of lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
