Your Opportunity, Your Team
  • The Assistant Apparel Designer supports HSN in the development process of private label product for HSN Proprietary / Collaboration Brands. Support all aspects of the product design process including PLM maintenance, sketching, materials, trims and color selection from concept through final approval. Support in preparing product meetings, creating presentation boards, data entry, receiving and sending out packages, and other supporting asks as needed.

Where You'll Work
  • This role is hybrid and will require you to be onsite at our Studio Park Office in West Chester, PA several days per week. Job seekers must reside in one of the following states to be considered: PA, NJ, and DE. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.

What You'll Do
  • Initiate tech pack creation with sketches and bill of materials.
  • Maintain and update development documentation in FLEX PLM and support the design team through the design and sourcing process, capturing all changes.
  • Create flat sketches for designed apparel styles.
  • Maintain awareness of seasonal trends.
  • Create presentation materials for trend, color, and product assortment
  • Supports in developing seasonal color palettes.

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelors in Fashion Design, Textile Design or Fine Arts.
  • Proficiency in PC operation, MS office and Excel, Photoshop and Illustrator software
  • Must understand how to work in PLM System
  • Strong design and conceptual skills
  • Understanding of target customer
  • Ability to view and differentiate the color spectrum
