What You'll Do

The Associate Designer, Apparel & Graphics is responsible for the design process from initial concept to commercialization and production for assigned apparel products.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Work closely with design team to conceptualize and execute apparel designs for assigned Work closely with design team to conceptualize and execute apparel designs for assigned categories based on PLM briefs and current market direction.
  • Research seasonal uniform and apparel trends for baseball/softball players.
  • Execute original design sketches and assist in creating all visual aids and presentation materials.
  • Create original prints, patterns, and graphics.
  • Assist in tech pack creation and updates, providing detailed product information including spec drawings, fit, fabric, artwork, and color direction.
  • Assist in reviewing strike-offs and print swatches for color, scale, and quality, and communicating comments to manufacturing partners
  • Other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's Degree in Apparel Design or a related area and a minimum of 2 years of experience in product design/development. 

Other qualifications include:

  • Experience focused on product design with expertise in garment construction, fabric and prototyping new designs.
  • Strong graphic design skills, including drawing/sketching, typography, color theory, texture and visual presentation.
  • Experience creating unique prints and patterns for apparel applications.
  • Experience communicating with factories and across language barriers.
  • Thorough knowledge of garment construction
  • Basic fit and pattern making skills
  • Understanding of performance materials (drape, fit, and construction)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple competing tasks and demands
  • Self-motivated, excellent time management skills, and able to meet deadlines
  • Excellent organizational and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Experience in 3D software, Clo 3D, is a plus

A reasonable estimate of the pay range is $65,000 - $75,000 per year at the time of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education, and/or training. Please note that the range details reflect the base pay only and does not include our competitive bonus program.
