  • Develop new, accessible design resources and guidance in partnership with internal cross-functional teams, enabling non-designer team members to distribute content in appropriately branded packages
  • Create and maintain a centralized asset hub, including logos, icons, elements, and media

Asset Production:

  • Design a range of visual assets, including for campaigns, presentations, reports, direct mail, email, web, social media, and display
  • Ensure all materials meet standards for accessibility, usability, and brand alignment
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Communications colleagues and cross-functional stakeholders to meet day-to-day design needs

Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with Marketing and Communications colleagues to manage design requests and production timelines, meeting expectations for timely delivery
  • Provide guidance to team members on usage of brand elements and branded templates
  • Iterate, evolve, and improve brand systems and processes over time in collaboration with Marketing and Communications colleagues and executive leadership
  • Work with external partners, contractors, and agencies to manage and meet overflow or specialty needs

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in design, visual arts, or media preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in brand design, visual design, or similar role.
  • Strong design portfolio demonstrating both brand identity work and production-level design applications.
  • Experience managing and extending brand systems and style guides.
  • Demonstrated expertise in both print (direct mail, flyers, signage, etc.) and digital (email, web, social, video) formats
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and deliver designs on or ahead of deadlines

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Brand and Strategic Design

  • Ability to evolve and maintain a cohesive brand identity
  • Strong ability to create and apply visual systems across digital and print
  • Excellent skills related to typography, layout, color theory, composition, and visual hierarchy
  • Able to review and guide contractors and specialists in producing work consistent with internal standards

  • Expert-level proficiency in using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.); short-format video editing (Premiere, etc.) a strong plus
  • Solid understanding of visual accessibility standards, such as color contrast, type size, and document formatting
  • Strong ability to execute print pre-press and production tasks
  • Familiarity with digital design principles, including optimal resolution, mobile-first design, and web design principles (coding ability not required)
