About the Role

This is a customer-facing implementation role owning the full onboarding lifecycle from signed contract through successful graduation — driving first payroll execution on the first eligible pay cycle and managing multiple concurrent implementations across customer segments.

What You'll Own
  • Own customer onboarding from signed contract through successful graduation
  • Drive first payroll execution on the first eligible pay cycle
  • Ensure accurate payroll data migration, tax registrations, and bank verification
  • Manage multiple concurrent implementations
  • Execute onboarding programs tailored by customer size
  • Partner with Engineering, Tax Operations, Support, and Customer Success
  • Resolve onboarding blockers and implementation challenges
  • Own graduation criteria, stakeholder engagement, and feature adoption
  • Improve onboarding templates, playbooks, escalation paths, and processes
Requirements
  • 3+ years in implementation, customer success, onboarding, or project management
  • B2B SaaS experience with ownership of onboarding, activation, or implementation KPIs
  • Strong project management skills and experience managing multiple simultaneous implementations
  • Payroll, HR tech, fintech, or adjacent domain experience
  • Ability to adapt onboarding motions by customer size
  • High agency and bias toward action
Target Backgrounds

Strong signals include experience at Rippling, Justworks, Gusto, or Paylocity — particularly payroll or HRIS implementation ownership, customer onboarding KPI ownership, early-stage startup experience, fintech implementation experience, and process builder mentality.
