About the Company

Our partner is a fast-growing FinTech building a payroll and back-office software suite for startups. The customer experience organization spans support, account management, activations, and tax, and it is one of the highest-priority, fastest-growing parts of the business. This is a chance to own a critical post-sale function and directly shape how new customers succeed.

The Opportunity

As a Customer Activation Manager, you will own the onboarding, activation, and implementation experience for new customers, making sure each account gets fully set up and live. You will work closely with customers to drive adoption and surface expansion opportunities as accounts grow. This is a commercially minded post-sale role suited to someone who thinks like a seller and wants to drive measurable outcomes, not just manage tickets.

Responsibilities
  • Own customer onboarding, activation, and implementation end to end
  • Drive product adoption and ensure customers reach value quickly
  • Identify and tee up expansion opportunities within your accounts
  • Partner cross-functionally to keep deployments on track and on time
  • Manage to clear activation and expansion metrics
Requirements
  • Background as an AE or AM (rather than a pure CS/CSM track)
  • Experience carrying quota and a track record of account expansion
  • Strong customer-facing and project management skills
  • Comfortable owning commercial outcomes in a post-sale role
  • Bonus: FinTech or payroll industry experience
