Job description

Brand Activation Assistant

Location: Louisville, KY

Full-Time | In-Person

About The ZAP Agency

The ZAP Agency is a direct sales and growth company built on real conversations and measurable results. We help brands connect directly with customers through face-to-face engagement, live campaigns, and promotional activations.

Our approach is simple: create genuine customer interactions that build awareness, generate interest, and drive growth. As we continue expanding in Louisville, we're looking for energetic, people-focused individuals who want to develop valuable skills in sales, customer engagement, and brand representation.

Role Snapshot

As a Brand Activation Assistant, you'll help bring brands to life through promotional campaigns, retail activations, and customer-facing events. This role combines customer engagement, sales, events, and brand representation, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in fast-paced environments, and wants to gain practical experience in a growing industry.

Whether you're a recent graduate, career changer, or someone looking to build professional experience, you'll receive full training and ongoing support from day one.

What You'll Be Doing

No two days look exactly the same in this role.

You'll be working as part of a live campaign team, helping bring brands directly to customers through promotional events, retail activations, and face-to-face customer engagement.

One day you might be introducing customers to a new product or service, the next you could be helping deliver a busy promotional event where your team is generating excitement, building awareness, and creating meaningful customer interactions.

A big part of your role will be starting conversations, building rapport, and helping customers understand the products and services being promoted. You'll learn how to confidently explain key benefits, answer questions, and guide customers through their available options.

You'll also play an important part in the sales process by helping identify customer needs, generating interest, and supporting customers as they make informed decisions.

Along the way, you'll gain experience in:

  • Customer engagement and relationship building
  • Brand representation and promotional marketing
  • Face-to-face sales and communication
  • Event execution and campaign delivery
  • Working towards team and individual performance goals

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, prefers being active rather than sitting behind a desk, and wants to develop practical skills that can be applied across sales, marketing, business, and leadership positions in the future.

What You'll Learn

You'll gain hands-on experience in:

  • Brand activation and customer engagement
  • Sales and customer acquisition
  • Professional communication and presentation skills
  • Promotional marketing and campaign execution
  • Event coordination and customer experience
  • Teamwork, leadership, and personal development

Full training is provided from day one.

What We're Looking For

We're interested in individuals who:

  • Enjoy interacting with people
  • Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Are confident communicators or willing to develop those skills
  • Thrive in team environments
  • Are coachable and open to learning
  • Want to build experience in sales, events, marketing, or customer engagement

Previous experience is not required. Candidates from retail, hospitality, customer service, sports, events, or graduate backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Culture & Environment

At The ZAP Agency, development happens through action. We believe confidence, communication, and leadership are built through real-world experience.

You'll be part of a supportive and collaborative team environment where effort is recognised, success is celebrated, and progression is based on performance.

Whatโ€™s On Offer

  • Weekly pay with performance-based incentives
  • Full product and campaign training
  • Ongoing coaching and mentorship
  • Practical experience in events, promotions, and sales
  • Supportive team culture
  • Opportunities for progression based on performance

Closing

This is an in-person position based in Louisville, KY. We're currently growing our Brand Activation team and are looking for individuals who are excited to gain experience, build professional skills, and contribute to a growing organisation.

Shortlisted candidates will be contacted within 2โ€“3 business days.
