Position Title: Brand Activation Manager (Part-Time)

Department: Sales - High End

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Method of Work: Requires in Person Attendance in Trade

Reporting Relationship: This person reports to the High-End Sales Manager


Summary: The Brand Activation Manager is responsible for driving brand visibility, trial, and growth within the distribution channel through strategic, compliant, and engaging brand activation events. This part-time role focuses on executing impactful trade and consumer-facing initiatives across on-premise and off-premise accounts while ensuring adherence to all local, state, and federal alcohol regulations.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Communicate with Sales Rep to ensure proper brands are targeted

· Manage on-premise and off-premise activations, including tastings (where legally permitted), promotions, events, and point-of-sale execution

· Work closely with sales teams, and key retail accounts to support brand awareness and trial, helping to support distribution goals

· Ensure all brand activations comply with alcohol industry regulations, company policies, and responsible marketing standards

· Gather market insights and competitive intelligence to inform the High-End Brand Department on strategy


Secondary Duties:

· Must follow instruction

· Must work well with others

· Other duties may be assigned

· Follow all Great Bay policies

· Must be adaptable to change

Requirements:

Qualifications & Experience:


MUST BE 21 YEARS OR OLDER TO APPLY

  • Must have valid FL driver’s license, reliable transportation and 100,000/300,000 auto insurance coverage.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field would be preferred, but not necessary
  • 1-2 years of experience in brand activation, field marketing, trade marketing, or experiential marketing preferred but not necessary
  • Experience within alcohol, beverage, or consumer goods industries preferred
  • An understanding of the alcohol 3 tier distribution system or open to learning
  • Knowledge of alcohol marketing laws and responsible drinking guidelines or open to learning

Employees may be permitted to use their own personal vehicle on company business and the employee must sign an acknowledgment of using their personal vehicle on company business. Employees who drive their personal vehicles on company business are subject to the requirements of the Vehicle Use Policy (including Distracted Driving) and the Personal Vehicle Use Policy program including, but not limited to Maintain auto insurance with minimum limits as defined below:

$1000 - Maximum Deductible for Comprehensive

$1000 - Maximum Deductible for Collision

$100,000 / $300,000 - Bodily Injury

$50,000 - Property Damage

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and talk or listen. The employee may be required to reach with hands and arms and climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to stop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is required to use a desktop/laptop and printer. The employee must be able to lift up to 20lbs. The position involves standing and walking for extended periods, interacting with large groups of people, and occasionally lifting or carrying promotional materials or equipment. Travel between activation sites may be required.


Working Conditions: This position requires working in a variety of environments, including bars, restaurants, grocery stores, retail locations, special events, festivals, and public markets. Work may take place indoors and outdoors, depending on the event requirements. Employees should expect varying noise levels, ranging from moderate to high, particularly in bars, restaurants, concerts, festivals, and large promotional events where music, crowds, or amplified sound may be present. Outdoor activations may involve exposure to Florida weather conditions, including heat, humidity, sun, wind, and occasional rain.
