Job description

Responsibilities
  • Leading projects and tasks within the payments "tower" of Accounts Payable (AP)
  • This position works to ensure smooth payment processing through identifying and resolving issues preventing payment and validating previous day's payments files.
  • This position works with the IT groups on Accounts Payable related system enhancements.
  • Assists the US Tax Team with mailing tax returns.
  • Interaction with various operating groups and vendors to provide payment processing support and issue resolution.
  • Ensures compliance with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX).
  • The Accounts Payable Analyst works with Accounts Payable offshore group to ensure efficient payment processing.
  • In addition, you would need to be a highly motivated self-starter and change agent, with demonstrated ability to work on cross-functional teams, have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, strong process and system focus, ability to manage multiple priorities with conflicting deadlines, with excellent oral and written communication skills.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
  • 5+ years of related experience
  • High proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in finance, accounting or related field
