Amazon Ads' Large Customer Sales (LCS) organization is seeking a Senior Account Executive (L6) to own and grow a portfolio of large, complex advertising clients and prospects. In this role, you will serve as the primary relationship owner and strategic lead for a set of upper-tier advertisers and their agency partners, driving sustained media investment and delivering measurable business outcomes for clients and Amazon Ads.

LCS Senior Account Executives are objective-based sellers (OBS) who cultivate a deep understanding of customers' needs and aspirations, then create measurable, tailored multi-product Amazon Ads solutions - spanning display, online video, Streaming TV (STV), Audio, Sponsored Ads, AdTech, and Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC).

Key job responsibilities

Own and lead the overall advertiser relationship and strategy, including account planning and direct advertiser agreements, for a set of complex, upper-tier accounts

Consistently meet and exceed revenue targets by securing sustained media investment partnerships and making responsive recommendations that expand the breadth and depth of Amazon Ads products adopted across client objectives and divisions

Deliver structured, objective-based long-term plans that drive growth and improve the advertiser experience (AX)

Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior client and agency stakeholders (VP/Director level and above) who influence or control decision-making within the advertiser and/or agency team

Set customer objective-based priorities for the cross-functional account team, orchestrating internal partner teams (Account Managers, Campaign Creative Managers, Programmatic Solutions Consultants, Analytics & Insights, AdTech, Product Sales Specialists, etc.)

Develop data-driven insights, advertiser/agency education, and an industry perspective to build effective client relationships

Communicate clearly and persuasively with client and agency senior leadership; contribute to and potentially own cadenced reporting and narratives (WBR, MBR, QBR, 2-pager, 6-pager, PR/FAQ)

Improve, streamline, and eliminate excess processes; drive efficiencies and develop best practices, approaches, and playbooks across your vertical

Influence the sales organization, partner teams, and senior leaders; advocate on behalf of the customer within Amazon

Participate in and/or lead established and emerging strategic initiatives; begin to influence partner team roadmaps

Basic Qualifications

- 5+ years of B2B sales experience

- 7+ years of digital media ad sales experience

- Experience closing sales and revenue generation

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience building new customer relationships

- Experience closing sales and generating revenue

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and sales incentives. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
