Job Overview
We are currently looking for a Global Accounts Executive to join our team in New York, NY.
As a Global Accounts Executive, you will be a:
Strategic business developer of global client accounts and relationships, expanding and deepening revenue generating activities at multi-geographic/multi-sector locations, divisions, facilities, and levels within client organizations, ensuring long-term account growth. Develops long-lasting relationships at executive and key decision-maker levels and serves as central point person for all activities on accounts, coordinating local resources and support to meet client requirements. Executes effective business plan for managing and growing revenue to fill funnel meeting quota and product mix goals.
Essential Functions
  • Creates, executes, and effectively manages business plan focusing on long-term growth for assigned global accounts. Sets strategy for expanding and developing new business within multiple levels, departments, geographical and multi-sector client locations to meet quota and product mix goals.
  • Possesses deep understanding of client's business and their short and long-term objectives. Builds strategic plans to help client achieve their objectives. Provides subject matter expertise on application knowledge.
  • Effectively develops and manages key decision-maker client relationships. Fosters trust by creating meaningful, value-add engagements, and value proposition; provides subject matter expertise on application knowledge.
  • Orchestrates team of appropriate internal resources and specialists to grow business and address client needs, including local resources at various client locations; utilizes Haworth tools and resources to close business.
  • Develops and maintains collaborative relationships with distribution partners on global accounts sales strategy, development, and maintenance.
  • Collaborates with partners on multi-sector opportunities to establish workspace consistency model for global-wide purchasing/contract agreements.
  • May travel up to 80% to meet face to face with clients, influencers, and dealers.
  • Must be able to perform all essential job functions with/without accommodation.
  • Uses office automation, communication, software, and tools used in Haworth office environment.
  • Performs other duties within scope as assigned.

Required Qualifications
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, sales, architecture, interior design, marketing, communications or equivalent.
  • Education Equivalency:
    • Associate's degree plus 2 years related experience or,
    • High school diploma plus 4 years related experience.

Work Experience:
  • 7 years experience in consultative business-to-business selling, solutions-based sales role with a history of managing large-sized clients with significant deal size and delivering complex solutions with Bachelor's Degree
  • Or 5 years experience in consultative business-to-business selling, solutions-based sales role with a history of managing large-sized clients with significant deal size and delivering complex solutions with Master's Degree

Compensation and Benefits
Haworth offers a competitive total rewards package including base salary determined based on the role, experience, skill set, and location. For those in eligible roles, sales incentive bonuses may be awarded in recognition of individual achievements and contributions.
