Integration EIB specialist with studio knowledge
Job Summary for Onsite:
We are looking for a skilled Integration EIB Specialist with strong Workday Studio expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain complex integrations between Workday HCM/Financials and third-party systems using Workday EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder) and Workday Studio. This is an onsite role requiring hands-on technical capability and close collaboration with functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop inbound/outbound integrations using Workday EIB and Workday Studio.
  • Build complex integrations involving custom XSLT, XML, Web Services (SOAP/REST), and Workday APIs.
  • Create and maintain EIBs for data loads (HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Finance, etc.).
  • Develop advanced integrations in Workday Studio using Studio components, connectors, and custom logic.
  • Perform data mapping, transformation, and error handling for high-volume integrations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration failures, performance issues, and data discrepancies.
  • Work with Workday Integration Cloud Connect (ICC) where applicable.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, and external vendors to gather integration requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Write and maintain technical documentation, including integration specifications, mapping documents, and runbooks.
  • Support integration testing (SIT/UAT), go-live activities, and post-production support.
  • Ensure security, compliance, and data privacy standards are followed in all integrations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Workday EIB end-to-end development and troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday Studio (mandatory) including custom assemblies, business processes, and advanced reporting.
  • Proficiency in XSLT 2.0/3.0, XML, JSON, and web services (SOAP & REST).
  • Solid understanding of Workday HCM and/or Financials data model.
  • Experience with middleware tools (Boomi, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, etc.) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Workday Report Writer, Calculated Fields, and Business Process Framework.
  • Experience in full lifecycle implementations, upgrades, or support projects.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Workday Integration Certification (or equivalent).
  • Experience with other integration platforms (e.g., Workday Extend, Prism, or third-party ETL tools).
