Job description

Title: Workday AI Integrations Lead Analyst
Location: Lincolnshire, Illinois (hybrid)
Type: Contract to hire
Targeted Rate: $75 / Hour

This role will be responsible for building new Workday Extend applications, enabling Workday AI capabilities, supporting Agent System of Record (ASOR) initiatives, and partnering with internal AI teams to connect enterprise LLM technologies with the Workday ecosystem.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Workday Extend development, hands-on integration experience, and exposure to emerging Workday AI technologies. This individual must be highly self-directed, comfortable operating in an ambiguous and fast-paced retail environment, and capable of driving initiatives from concept through execution with minimal oversight.
Workday Extend Development (50-60%)
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy new Workday Extend applications.
  • Partner with HR, Finance, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver custom solutions.
  • Enhance user experience through custom application development and workflow automation.
  • Support the full application lifecycle including architecture, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing optimization.

Workday AI & Agent Enablement (20-30%)
  • Support implementation and adoption of Workday AI capabilities.
  • Configure and enable Workday Agents and Agent System of Record (ASOR) functionality.
  • Partner with internal AI engineering teams to integrate enterprise LLM platforms, including Gemini, with Workday.
  • Support AI Gateway implementation, orchestration initiatives, and emerging Workday AI use cases.
  • Participate in Workday early-adopter programs and AI innovation initiatives.

Integrations Leadership (20-30%)
  • Design, develop, and maintain Workday integrations utilizing Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and related integration technologies.
  • Support data exchange between Workday and third-party systems.
  • Troubleshoot integration issues and ensure data accuracy and reliability.
  • Collaborate with technical and functional teams to support enterprise integration strategies.

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Workday experience.
  • Proven hands-on Workday Extend development experience.
