  • Travel regularly between locations throughout Tampa Bay, St. Petersburg, and Sarasota.

What We’re Looking For
  • At least seven years of progressive culinary leadership experience in upscale Japanese, sushi, omakase, or fine-dining restaurants.

  • Significant experience as an Executive Chef, Corporate Chef, Culinary Director, or Multi-Unit Chef.

  • Advanced knowledge of sushi preparation, sashimi, seafood fabrication, Japanese knife skills, rice preparation, and traditional Japanese culinary techniques.

  • Experience working in Michelin-starred or Michelin-recognized restaurants is strongly preferred.

  • Proven success managing culinary operations across multiple locations.

  • Strong knowledge of menu development, recipe costing, inventory controls, purchasing, labor management, and kitchen systems.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop chefs, build accountable teams, and improve operational performance.

  • Exceptional leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to balance creativity and innovation with consistency, efficiency, and financial performance.

  • Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel throughout the assigned region.

Why Join Omei Restaurant Group?
  • Lead the culinary direction of Michelin-recognized and chef-driven restaurants.

  • Work with talented culinary professionals committed to excellence.

  • Influence menus, systems, training, and future restaurant growth.

  • Showcase premium seafood, Japanese ingredients, and advanced culinary techniques.

  • Receive competitive executive compensation based on experience.
