Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive and organized Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our warehouse facility. This role combines traditional warehouse management with inventory control, order fulfillment, online inventory administration, and creative product presentation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, hands-on, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse & Inventory Operations
- Manage daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and distributing inventory.
- Verify incoming shipments for accuracy and inspect products for quality and damage.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management or inventory software.
- Conduct routine inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy.
Order Processing & Shipping
- Coordinate the accurate picking, packing, and shipping of customer orders.
- Prepare shipping documentation and ensure compliance with carrier requirements.
- Work closely with shipping providers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve shipping issues.
Warehouse Organization
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Optimize storage layouts and workflow to improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure warehouse equipment and work areas meet safety standards.
Digital & Administrative Support
- Update online inventory listings and product availability.
- Assist with product photography, staging, and uploading product content.
- Respond to customer inquiries related to online orders and inventory.
- Maintain accurate operational records, reports, and documentation.
Team & Facility Support
- Assist in coordinating warehouse tours, special events, and team-building activities as needed.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse operations and customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, distribution, or inventory management.
- Experience with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 40 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience supervising warehouse personnel.
- Basic understanding of international shipping or global trade processes.
- Interest or experience in photography, social media, or product merchandising.
- Experience working with mission-driven or community-focused organizations is a plus.
