Meador an Openwork Company is currently engaged in a search to find a contract-to-hire Warehouse Operations Coordinator for a company located in the Houston area (77012) . This role will provide operational support for warehouse projects, customer loadouts, transloading operations, inventory staging, and transportation scheduling. This role serves as the primary liaison between customers, warehouse personnel, carriers, and internal operations teams to ensure projects move efficiently from planning through final delivery.
As the Warehouse Operations Coordinator you will:
  • Coordinating inbound and outbound project shipments with customers and warehouse vendors.
  • Creating shipment schedules and loadout plans by truck and date.
  • Managing staging requirements and ensuring freight is pulled, identified, and staged before pickup.
  • Communicating daily loading schedules to warehouse personnel and carriers.
  • Tracking basket numbers, inventory identifiers, pipe numbers, and project-specific equipment.
  • Coordinating with warehouse personnel regarding readiness status and staging completion.
  • Obtaining and distributing loading paperwork, signed documents, and driver information.
  • Monitoring pickup times and carrier appointments.
  • Following up on missing documentation and project deliverables.
  • Ensuring same-day delivery projects remain on schedule.
  • Managing customer communication and status reporting.
  • Coordinating transloading, structural steel projects, warehouse labor, unloads, and loadouts.

What youll need:
  • 3+ years of accounting experience in Logistics, Transportation, Warehousing or Project Management
  • Strong understanding of freight transportation and warehouse operations.
  • Bilingual is a huge plus!
