Summary:

We are seeking a Temporary Shipping Associate to support our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse, shipping, receiving, and inventory. They should also be able to assist with organizing shipments in a timely and efficient manner. The successful candidate will support daily warehouse activities, including preparing orders, managing inventory movement, and ensuring shipping and receiving procedures are followed accurately.

Job Description:

  • Prepare, pack, and process orders by pulling materials, organizing shipments, and placing items in designated pickup areas.
  • Support daily shipping, receiving, and inventory activities while coordinating with departments to fulfill operational needs.
  • Load and unload containers, shipments, and deliveries while ensuring accuracy and proper handling of materials.
  • Follow company procedures and shipping practices to maintain quality, organization, and safety standards.
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas, including shelves, packing stations, and shipping supply areas.
  • Build and wrap pallets for freight shipments.
  • Perform additional warehouse tasks and support operational needs as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
  • Previous warehouse experience preferred.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to quickly learn and follow warehouse procedures and job responsibilities.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team as well as independently.
  • Reliable and punctual with strong attendance.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to remain flexible and assist with various warehouse duties as business needs change.
  • Ability to continuously stand or walk, bend, squat, and lift frequently.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
