Warehouse Operations Manager

Full-Time Exempt

Monday - Friday 40+ Hours

Salary: $55K +


Position Overview

We’re looking for a Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee daily operations in our small but busy warehouse. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands‑on, improving processes, and keeping a tight ship. You’ll manage inventory, coordinate shipping/receiving, maintain safety standards, and ensure the warehouse runs efficiently every day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily operations — Oversee picking, packing, receiving, and shipping workflows.
  • Inventory management — Maintain accurate stock counts, conduct cycle counts, and reduce shrink.
  • Team leadership — Train, coach, and schedule a small warehouse staff.
  • Process improvement — Identify inefficiencies and implement practical solutions.
  • Safety compliance — Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
  • Vendor & carrier coordination — Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams.
  • Equipment oversight — Ensure forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment are maintained and safe.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Warehouse experience in a small or mid‑sized facility
  • Strong understanding of inventory systems (ERP/WMS)
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work on your feet
  • Proven leadership or supervisory experience
  • Solid communication and problem‑solving skills
  • Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Familiarity with shipping platforms (UPS, FedEx, Freight)

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with lean operations
  • Basic mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment
