This is an opportunity to step into a highly visible leadership role where you'll help shape the future of warehouse operations while developing a motivated, high-performing team.

The ideal candidate is a proven Warehouse Manager who enjoys being on the warehouse floor, leading by example, improving processes, and creating an environment where employees can succeed.

About the Operation

This operation supports licensed consumer products distributed throughout North America. The facility encompasses more than 125,000 square feet of warehouse space and processes high volumes of inventory throughout the year.

Operations include:

  • Inventory storage and replenishment
  • Product personalization and light production
  • Weekly inbound container shipments
  • Seasonal demand that ramps significantly from summer through the holiday season

The organization is currently implementing a new Warehouse Management System (WMS) and continues to invest in technology, people, and operational improvements.

What You'll Do

  • Manage and develop warehouse employees including inventory personnel, forklift operators, decorators, maintenance staff, and temporary employees
  • Lead daily team meetings, safety discussions, and operational planning
  • Work closely with Customer Service, Production, and Logistics to exceed customer expectations for quality and on-time delivery
  • Drive warehouse productivity, accuracy, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support the implementation and optimization of a new Warehouse Management System (WMS)
  • Develop and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Monitor inventory accuracy and warehouse performance metrics
  • Maintain OSHA compliance and promote a strong safety culture
  • Schedule staffing to meet changing business demands
  • Coach, mentor, and hold team members accountable while creating a respectful, positive work environment
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflow, reduce waste, and increase operational efficiency

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Warehouse Manager is required (Warehouse Supervisor experience alone will not be considered)
  • 3+ years leading warehouse operations in a distribution, manufacturing, fulfillment, or logistics environment
  • Strong experience managing inventory, shipping, receiving, and warehouse workflows
  • Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Hands-on leadership style with a willingness to spend the majority of the day on the warehouse floor
  • Proven ability to improve processes, increase productivity, and build engaged teams
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience managing seasonal or high-volume operations is highly desirable
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field is preferred but not required
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience is a plus
  • Forklift certification is a plus

Success in This Role

Successful candidates are:

  • Positive, energetic leaders
  • Highly organized and disciplined
  • Passionate about developing people
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Focused on safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Driven to build strong operational processes while maintaining a hands-on presence with the team

Work Environment

  • Warehouse and production environment
  • Exposure to noise, heat, and warehouse equipment
