Job description

Job Overview:
Trade Development Manager for Boynton Beach, Fort Pierce, FL and surrounding areas
Trade Development Manager is responsible for growing case volume and gross margin within assigned Third Party Operator (3PO), Managed Service or Micro Market account base by retaining and developing existing customers and establishing new customers.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a reporting system to measure distribution / penetration levels and case sales and gross margin for assigned 3PO/Micro Market account base.
  • Through personal selling efforts, increase the Region's penetration / distribution level at assigned 3PO, Managed Service and Micro Market locations.
  • Develop programs and promotions to increase sales by expanding product distribution within the existing 3PO, Managed Service and Micro Market locations.
  • Partner with internal team such as, Branch Manager's, District Managers, Business Development Representatives, and Customer Service Representatives to execute volume building plans.
  • Identify Key Middle and Upper level Managers within the assigned account base to develop relationships by maintaining an account call schedule.
  • Work with the Region Cold Drink Manager to establish and maintain pricing programs.
  • Maintain awareness of competitive pricing and programs within the channel.
  • Assist Region Accounting / Finance Team in establishing accruals for all Managed Services funding responsibilities.
  • Ensure the accuracy of Master Data within the channel - Account naming conventions, Pricing, Chain Maintenance, Channel Maintenance, and Market Type Maintenance.
  • Reporting to include, review and analysis of assigned accounts for case sales and financial data; prepare month to date (MTD) and year to date (YTD) reporting for assigned accounts; key drivers for case volume and margin; account maintenance; placements; and post promotional analysis.

Requirements:
  • High School degree or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred
  • 2 years' experience relationship selling in the CPG industry
  • 2 years' experience with Microsoft Office
