Job Description

The Assistant Director for Ticket Operations plays a key role in the Ticket Operations unit, helping deliver a seamless sales and gameday experience, superior customer support, and strong financial integrity. This position is responsible for daily ticket office functions, supervising part-time staff, managing events, and providing exceptional service to fans and stakeholders while ensuring compliance with university, NCAA, and conference policies. This position reports to the Assistant AD / Ticket Operations.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with relevant experience in a related field, or a master's degree.
Experience working in ticket operations or similar fast-paced customer service environment.
Functional knowledge of Paciolan ticketing software or similar platform.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Access).
Demonstrated customer service management experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Relevant supervisory experience in a customer service setting.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.
Working knowledge of NCAA rules regarding complimentary ticketing.
Familiarity with Virginia Tech Athletics facilities.
