Position Summary
The Athletics Department at Bryant University invites applications for the Ticket and Operations Intern position. Bryant University is an NCAA Division I program, sponsoring 25 varsity sports, and is a member of the America East Conference as well as an associate member of the Coastal Athletic Association, Big South, and East Coast Conferences. This position reports to the Assistant Athletic Director for Ticketing and Operations (or designated athletics administrator).
The Ticket and Operations Intern will assist with ticketing operations and event management for Bryant Athletics, gaining hands-on experience in NCAA Division I athletic operations, customer service, and game-day management. This is a 10-month internship position designed to provide immersive, practical experience throughout the academic year.
Compensation and Term:
This is a 10-month internship position that includes university-sponsored housing, a meal plan, and a monthly stipend. Additional compensation details, work schedule, and start/end dates will be determined based on departmental needs and candidate eligibility.

Principal Accountabilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Assisting with ticket operations for home athletic events, including ticket sales, distribution, scanning, and will-call setup
  • Supporting the daily operations of the ticket office, including customer service, data entry, and record keeping
  • Assisting with the management of online ticketing platforms and box office systems
  • Supporting game-day operations for home athletic events, including event setup and breakdown, staffing support, and facility readiness
  • Assisting with crowd management, credential verification, and customer service on event days
  • Collaborating with operations, facilities, marketing, and external relations staff to ensure smooth and professional event execution
  • Assisting with event operations for special events, postseason contests, and externally hosted events
  • Supporting administrative tasks such as tracking attendance, compiling reports, and maintaining ticketing documentation
  • Performing other duties as assigned

This position requires availability on nights, weekends, and select holidays, based on athletic event schedules.
Qualifications
Current undergraduate or graduate student in sport management, business, communications, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Interest in athletic administration, ticketing, or event operations
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, event-driven environment
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Comfort working with ticketing systems, point-of-sale platforms, or databases (training provided)
  • Exposure to intercollegiate athletics preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
