Job description

Job Summary
The Operations Coordinator plays a key role in the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) team, serving as the primary point of contact
between Standard Solar and its external contractors and field technicians. This role ensures timely dispatch, service tracking, vendor
accountability, and ticket updates for system issues across the solar portfolio. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and
excels in cross-functional communication. This position will report to Los Angeles, CA or Rockville, MD.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Ticket Management & Vendor Dispatch Coordination
• Review and manage assigned service tickets in CRM, with a focus on High and Medium priority tickets.
• Ensure all high tickets have:
o Clear Root Cause
o Expected Due Dates
o Maintaining service status notes and updates
• Monitor and escalate unresolved service tickets according to the escalation path.
• Create and assign Preventative Maintenance (PM) tickets with dispatches and when follow-up is required.
2. Contractor Oversight & Communication
• Serve as the main liaison for contractors during service dispatch and resolution.
• Schedule and coordinate site dispatches based on ticket priority and region.
• Follow a "Call First, Email Second" communication model to improve turnaround.
• Track contractor progress, PO submissions, and service report quality.
3. Prioritization & Accountability
• Prioritize high impacting tickets.
• Participate in weekly meetings to review active tickets and forecast upcoming dispatches.
• Ensure downtime end dates and transitions between ticket statuses are accurately recorded.
• Create additional tickets when necessary.
4. Workflow Standardization & Team Collaboration
• Work closely with Standard Solar teams to ensure seamless handoffs and data consistency.
• Contribute to process improvements once core responsibilities and expectations are met.
• Support ticket system cleanliness and regular audits to ensure accuracy.
• Support regional KPI goals.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
2+ years of experience in electrical or construction project coordination, vendor management, or operations.
Experience in renewable energy, solar O&M, or related industry preferred.
Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce experience highly preferred).
Project Management and follow-up skills.
