Job description

COMPANY BACKGROUND The Houston Dynamo Football Club (HDFC) is a multi-faceted organization dedicated to inspiring and supporting soccer participation and growth in Houston, TX and beyond. The Club's brands include men's and women's professional teams - the Houston Dynamo (MLS) and Houston Dash (NWSL), a development academy, Houston Dynamo Dash Charities, as well as Shell Energy Stadium and Houston Sports Park. The Club has a rich history, including MLS Cup titles (2006, 2007) and in-season tournament championships for both the Dynamo (2018, 2023) and Dash (2020) and is focused on building toward the next championships, inspiring and uniting the city of Houston through the sport of soccer and community outreach, and creating the most inclusive sporting experience and diverse fan base in the city and state.
PURPOSE OF THE JOB This role assists in all aspects of ticket operations for Shell Energy Stadium including Houston Dynamo FC, Houston Dash, Houston Dynamo II, and additional third-party events.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
  • Assist with all aspects of Ticket Operations and serve as a key representative of the department across the organization.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Box Office, including scheduling ticket window staff and coordinating operational priorities and workflows.
  • Provide comprehensive support for Ticket Operations and Box-Office functions during stadium events.
  • Collaborate with the Ticket Sales and Service teams to develop ticket packages, products, and processes that support revenue generation and departmental objectives.
  • Administer the season ticket member exchange program in partnership with the Member Service team.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for third-party partners regarding ticketing operations and game-day ticketing logistics for football events.
  • Maintain accurate ticketing records and ensure operational excellence across all ticketing functions.
  • Assist walk-up customers at the Box Office during regular business hours.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by professionally addressing and resolving customer inquiries, concerns, and ticketing issues.
  • Configure and maintain ticketing products within the Tixr platform, including price types, ticket plans, promotional codes, and other system settings.
  • Provide ticketing system support to Ticket Sales and Service staff, including training, troubleshooting, and best-practice guidance.
  • Process ticket orders, research customer accounts, and resolve account-related issues within the Tixr ticketing system.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
  • Minimum of one 1 years' experience in Event Ticket Operations - Required
  • Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Power Point, and other computer skills - Required
  • Ticketing system experience, Tixr - Preferred
  • Bilingual: English/Spanish - Preferred
