YOUR DAY-TO-DAY

In this payroll and benefits software sales role, your day will primarily consist of promoting and marketing AllianceHCM's services through persistent outreach efforts. You will aim to meet a minimum quota of 60 calls and 30 emails daily to prospective clients, laying the groundwork for new business opportunities. Your responsibilities will include scheduling initial meetings for the Sales team and equipping them with comprehensive information to facilitate effective discussions. Additionally, you will research and evaluate potential leads through extensive web research, ensuring that the outreach strategy remains dynamic and targeted. Throughout the day, you will diligently maintain records of contacts and progress using Salesforce, contributing to a seamless flow of communication and client engagement.

Here's what you need to become our Sales Development Rep:

  • Experience in effectively articulating product selling points via phone and email
  • Ability to assist in coordinating sales functions, including prospecting and lead research
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, coupled with excellent listening skills
  • Positive attitude and resilience in the face of rejection
  • Self-motivation, persistence, and the ability to work independently while maintaining strong working relationships

At least one year of experience in marketing, inside sales, or business development is preferred. A four-year post-secondary education/bachelor's degree is also a plus.
