Job description

LaSalle Network has partnered with a global leader in Ecosystem Integration software to find their next generation of sales talent. Based in Chicago, IL, this organization provides a mission-critical cloud platform that helps manufacturers, logistics providers, and retailers automate their supply chains.
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will be the engine of the sales organization. You will be responsible for identifying high-potential accounts and initiating the first conversation with key decision-makers. This is a high-energy, high-activity role designed for someone looking to build a long-term career in Enterprise Software (SaaS).
Sales Development Representative Responsibilities:
  • Utilize cold calling, strategic emailing, and social selling (LinkedIn) to engage C-level executives and IT directors.
  • Evaluate potential clients' needs and "pain points" to determine if their business is a fit for an enterprise integration platform.
  • Partner closely with Account Executives to develop territory plans and transition qualified opportunities into the sales pipeline.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends in supply chain, EDI (Electronic Data Interchange), and API management to position the company as a thought leader.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all outreach and prospect intelligence within Salesforce.

Sales Development Representative Qualifications:
  • Completed bachelor's degree
  • At least 1 year of related sales experience
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce) and sales engagement platforms (Outreach/Salesloft) is a plus.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Focus on the positive and strive for continual improvement
  • Be results oriented and driven to carve out a career path within the field of sales
