Job Title: General Maintenance Technician II (2nd Shift)
Location: Lafayette, IN 47905
Duration: 3 Months (Temp to Perm)
Pay Rate: $23/hr (W2)
Shift: 2nd Shift (1:00 PM โ€“ 9:30 PM)

Job Summary:
Seeking a General Maintenance Technician II to support facility maintenance in an industrial environment. This role involves troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance of building systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on facility systems and equipment
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems
  • Maintain lighting, conveyors, cranes, HVAC (VAVs, AHUs), pumps, and R.O. systems
  • Repair facility structures (walls, doors, flooring, roofing, etc.)
  • Perform preventive maintenance using CMMS and document work
  • Operate equipment such as forklifts, hoists, and aerial lifts
  • Follow safety protocols (LOTO, PPE, JHA)
  • Support specialized technicians and recommend improvements
Minimum Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year of industrial/commercial maintenance experience
  • Basic knowledge of 480V 3-phase systems
  • Ability to work at heights (up to 30 ft)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with HVAC, conveyors, lighting systems, and R.O. systems
  • Experience troubleshooting motors, pumps, valves, and gearboxes
  • Basic plumbing and facility maintenance experience
  • Familiarity with CMMS systems
  • Experience operating forklifts and aerial lifts
Additional Requirements:
  • Must pass drug screening
  • Valid driverโ€™s license (if required)
  • U.S. work authorization required
  • Ability to obtain site security clearance
Physical Requirements:
  • Lift up to 50 lbs
  • Climb ladders, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive movements
  • Walk extensively throughout facility
  • Must wear PPE (steel-toe boots, gloves, safety glasses, etc.)
