Job description

Job Title: GMT / Dock Door Technician
Location: Bristol, PA 19007
Duration: Temp to Perm
Pay Rate: $24โ€“$26/hr (W-2)

Overview:
Seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician with strong expertise in overhead doors, dock equipment, and general facility maintenance in an industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain overhead/roll-up doors, gates, and dock equipment (levelers, plates, restraints)
  • Perform preventive maintenance (lubrication, cleaning, filter changes)
  • Replace mechanical components (motors, bearings, shafts, etc.)
  • Conduct daily facility inspections and respond to work orders
  • Perform basic electrical troubleshooting
  • Handle general maintenance tasks (carpentry, plumbing fixtures, painting, minor repairs)
  • Use CMMS to track maintenance activities
  • Follow safety procedures including lockout/tagout and PPE compliance
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years of maintenance experience (industrial mechanical, HVAC, or similar)
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work at heights (lifts up to 30 ft)
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays
Preferred:
  • Experience with CMMS (Maximo a plus)
  • Familiarity with hand/power tools and diagnostic equipment
  • Welding experience/certification
