Job description

CMMS Coordinator

Position overview

Client is constructing a new state-of-the-art beverage manufacturing facility in Seabrook, NJ. In preparation for the facility launch, the CMMS Coordinator will be responsible for building out the eMaint CMMS platform from the ground up, inputting new equipment assets, developing preventive maintenance programs, and establishing work order workflows before the new facility goes live. This role will be based at the existing Seabrook facility during the transition period and will work as part of a broader maintenance launch team.

Key responsibilities

Build and configure the eMaint CMMS system for the new facility, create asset hierarchy, input all new equipment records, and organize by area/system
Develop comprehensive preventive maintenance schedules and PM task templates based on OEM recommendations and equipment specifications
Create and manage work orders within eMaint; assign, track, and close out maintenance tasks in coordination with the maintenance team
Maintain accurate records for all equipment including manuals, warranty information, spare parts requirements, and maintenance history
Manage MRO spare parts inventory within the CMMS, set reorder points, track stock levels, and coordinate with vendors as needed
Collaborate with Maintenance Manager and technicians to ensure the PM program reflects operational priorities and equipment criticality
Support the smooth transition of maintenance operations from the existing facility to the new facility
Generate maintenance KPI reports as needed (PM compliance, work order backlog, etc.)
Required qualifications
2+ years of experience in a maintenance planning, maintenance administration, or CMMS administrator role in a manufacturing environment
Hands-on experience working within a CMMS platform, eMaint experience strongly preferred; experience with Maximo, SAP PM, MP2, or similar systems considered
Familiarity with preventive maintenance concepts, equipment reliability, and manufacturing maintenance operations
Ability to read and interpret OEM equipment manuals and translate specifications into PM procedures
Strong organizational and data entry skills, ability to manage large volumes of equipment records accurately
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Experience in food & beverage or industrial manufacturing preferred

Preferred qualifications

Experience building out or implementing a CMMS system at a new or transitioning facility
Familiarity with GMP or food-grade manufacturing environments
Experience with MRO inventory management and vendor coordination
