SUMMARY 

The Housekeeping and Linen Supervisor, works with the housekeeping and linen departments to ensure safe and adequate delivery of services.  This individual manages linen PAR levels, and access to AlEX linen dispensing machines and Scrubs dispensing machines. S/He will also manage patient privacy curtains installation and replacement. S/He will ensure areas assigned are maintained clean and in an orderly condition. Ensures staff are adhering to Joins Commission, CMMS and OSHA regulations as well as internal health system policies and procedures. The manager will report directly to the VP, Support Services and will work with Nursing, Safety, Operations, Facilities, EVS and other hospital departments.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Five (5) or more years of experience in housekeeping required.

  • Knowledge of general cleaning procedures in a healthcare environment highly desired required.

  • Ability to learn proper cleaning procedures required.

  • Ability to learn proper management of cleaning chemicals required.

  • Ability to learn proper use of personal protective equipment required.

  • Basic phone and computer skills required.

  • Valid Driver's license or government issued ID required.
