Job description

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
PURPOSE of the position is to support customer inputs and develop customer base. Responsibility within general sales activities; leverage on the company core competences in investigating, identifying and developing new business opportunities in established and/or new market applications. This position will be reporting to the CEO.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Produce offers and quotation to current and prospect customers for both existing and new products; provide appropriate reports to management as requested.

  • Represent Spectra-Mat, Inc. at various trade shows, conferences, and seminars.
  • Visit potential and established customers as needed to ensure satisfaction and develop new opportunities

  • Input SMI data into corporate planning and customer system (Salesforce); provide efficient and timely entry of sales order into production system

  • Contribute to the expansion of SMI/SAES Getters through the identification of candidates for growth opportunities
  • Facilitate seamless transition of clients from prospect to customer by collaborating with engineers to ensure all needs are met

  • Assemble data and compile reports to provide update on market trends, growth opportunities, and results of efforts.

  • Provide contract review for accuracy (T&C's, export regulations, etc) as required.

  • Insure appropriate billing and occasional shipping activities.

EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE
Looking for:
  • Experience in technical sales, sales administration, contract review.

  • Experience in Electronic Package, Photonics or Mobile Communication Industry,

  • Objective oriented, excellent communication capabilities, market and product knowledge, prospecting skills, presentation skills, customer oriented, strong sense of ethic, self-motivated and capable to work autonomously.

Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Some technical education in engineering or material science with 4 -5 years' experience in sales.

  • Experience in handling Defense Contracts.

On-site position with some travel.
Physical Requirements: The employee is required to operate a computer for extended periods of time. The employee must be able to bend, lift, and carry objects of varying sizes up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
