Job description

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Technical Sales Executive to join a growing manufacturing organization. This role is ideal for an ambitious sales professional who enjoys developing strategic customer relationships, driving revenue growth, and serving as a trusted advisor to manufacturing clients. The Technical Sales Executive will be responsible for managing key accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering technical solutions that support customer success.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and expand existing customer accounts within manufacturing and industrial markets.
  • Develop strong relationships with decision-makers, engineers, operations leaders, and procurement teams.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and market research.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering and operations teams to develop customer-focused solutions.
  • Conduct customer visits, presentations, and product demonstrations to understand business needs and recommend solutions.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, pricing strategies, and sales forecasts.
  • Track sales activities, customer interactions, and opportunities within CRM systems.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and market developments to identify growth opportunities.
  • Support contract negotiations and ensure successful project implementation and customer satisfaction.
  • Meet or exceed sales growth, profitability, and customer retention objectives.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of account management, business development, or technical sales experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven success managing customer relationships and growing revenue through existing accounts.
  • Experience selling technical products, engineered solutions, industrial equipment, or manufacturing services preferred.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to understand technical concepts and translate customer needs into effective solutions.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to travel as needed to support customer relationships and business development activities.
