Job description

Job Title: Director, Sales

Job Summary:

The Sales Director formulates account sales strategies to meet enterprise business plans and maintain consistency across the marketplace. This position promotes internal relationships to provide sales support, improve communications, and provide customer connectivity.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coaches' others and provides on-going feedback and support to improve performance.
  • Collaborates with Solutions and Revenue Management groups.
  • Participates in joint customer sales visits to secure new business.
  • Meets with Major Accounts and Strategic Accounts organizations to review account initiatives and revenue opportunities.
  • Participates in meetings to provide sales updates.
  • Conducts monthly reviews of target accounts to identify areas of improvement.
  • Reviews account strategies to drive business results.

 

Job Requirements:

  • U.S. citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Currently located in the same geographic location as the job or willing to relocate yourself
  • Bachelor's Degree (or internationally comparable degree) 
  • Willing to travel
  • Sales experience from Business-to-Business or Business-to-Consumer or experience in a TForce Freight management job or customer facing role
