Job Description:
The Technical Recruiter will drive all recruitment efforts and processes including sourcing candidates, reviewing applicants, evaluating position requirements, conducting prescreening interviews, and assisting in the interview process between the candidate and our clients. The Technical Recruiter should also be innovative and possess a creative problem-solving mindset with the ability to thrive in a rapidly growing and continuously changing environment.
Job Duties:
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for technical and professional positions
  • Receive, prioritize, and process technical job requisitions
  • Source, screen, interview, and submit qualified candidates to clients
  • Build proactive talent pipelines using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, networking, referrals, and other sourcing strategies
  • Develop creative recruiting strategies to attract passive and high-demand talent
  • Coordinate and support the interview process between candidates and hiring teams
  • Maintain accurate recruiting activity, candidate tracking, and reporting metrics
  • Build and maintain a strong database of qualified candidates for future opportunities
  • Support recruiting initiatives for the Oak Ridge Regional Office while contributing to company-wide hiring efforts
  • Enhance recruiting processes and contribute ideas that improve team performance and operational efficiency

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Two (2) to ten (10) + years of relevant recruiting experience, preferably supporting engineering, nuclear, or DOE-related industries.
  • Experience using ATS platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, and modern recruiting tools.
  • Strong technical skills in PC operating systems; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook), data entry, and database management.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with urgency, accuracy, and professionalism.
  • Self-starter capable of working independently in a fast-moving environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • High level of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proven success sourcing and placing difficult-to-fill technical positions.
  • Experience recruiting engineers and technical personnel across the DOE complex.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • Experience supporting government contractors or highly regulated industries.
