Job description

Who You Are:
As the Solution Engineer, you will partner with our Sales Account Executives as a key technical resource throughout the sales lifecycle. You will work in a consultative role to assist in the successful closing of new deals by performing technical presentations of Citian solutions and pre-sales support to our prospective and returning customers.  The Solution Engineer will serve as a key technical resource through the sales cycle and become an authority in the features and benefits of our software.  You will provide engaging Sales demos to help educate prospective and current customers and utilize your technical expertise and customer facing skills. 

Responsibilities:

  • Present and demonstrate Citian solutions to both prospective and current clients and technical users.
  • Successfully facilitate solution discovery, solution overview, and technical deep dive sessions with customers.
  • Build environments tailored to customer requirements as proof of concept during the sales lifecycle to illustrate product capabilities and how they align specifically with customer objectives.
  • Provide high quality and engaging Sales demos and partner with our Sales Account Executives to close deals
  • Establish relationships with key customer business and technical advocates that have the power to drive long-term Citian solution adoption
  • Support Marketing teams by developing and delivering product demonstrations, workshops, white papers.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of overall Sales or Solution Engineer experience ideally within the public sector or GovTech space
  • Experience working with and delivering software tools and frameworks and technical skills including using AI tools
  • Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively to both technical and executive audiences
  • The ability to correlate a customer's specific business problems with Citian solutions.
  • Working knowledge of government operations, or procurement processes is a major plus.
