About the Role:
We are seeking a hands-on Sr Functional Analyst with strong expertise in Retail Merchandising, Procurement, Inventory Management, and Buying processes within SAP S/4HANA. This role is responsible for designing, configuring, and optimizing SAP MM solutions that support merchandising operations, purchasing workflows, inventory movement, and vendor management across the enterprise. This role will partner closely with Merchandising, Buying, Supply Chain teams to deliver scalable SAP solutions and continuous process improvements. This role reports to the Director - SAP, Purchasing & Logistics.
Responsibilities Include:
  • Configure and support SAP S/4 HANA MM functionality across Purchasing, Procurement, Inventory Management, and Vendor Management processes
  • Lead functional design workshops and translate business requirements into scalable SAP MM solutions
  • Develop functional specifications for RICEFW objects including interfaces, enhancements, reports, forms, and workflows
  • Drive SAP configuration, testing, deployment, and production support activities for merchandising and procurement functions
  • Partner with Merchandising, Buying, Inventory Management, and Finance stakeholders to standardize and optimize business processes
  • Support integrations between SAP and surrounding retail platforms including WMS, EDI, POS, vendor systems, and external applications
  • Manage and support master data processes including material master, vendor master, purchasing info records, and pricing conditions
  • Execute and support unit testing, integration testing, UAT, and post-production stabilization activities
  • Collaborate with development and offshore teams to deliver high-quality SAP solutions on time

About The Pay:
  • Base Salary Range: $140,000 - $155,000 Annually

About You:
  • 5-8 years of hands-on SAP MM functional experience with strong configuration expertise
  • Strong SAP S/4 HANA MM experience required, including Purchasing, Procurement, Inventory Management, Vendor Management, and Merchandise Management
  • Retail industry experience strongly preferred
  • Experience supporting merchandising and buying business processes within SAP environments
  • Strong functional configuration experience with SAP MM; ability to independently design and troubleshoot solutions
  • Experience integrating SAP with EDI, warehouse systems, POS systems, and external vendor platforms
  • Strong understanding of SAP master data structures and transactional process flows
  • Experience writing detailed functional specifications and supporting technical development teams
  • Proven experience supporting full lifecycle SAP implementations and enhancements
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent SAP functional experience considered
