Description

The Senior Functional Analyst (Research Scientist) provides advanced analytical, research coordination, and operational support services to NICoE clinical leadership. This role supports research integration, data analysis, program evaluation, and operational improvement initiatives aligned with clinical administrative and resource management functions.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support integration of clinical operations and research initiatives.
     
  • Conduct research coordination, data collection, and analytical reporting to inform leadership decision-making.
     
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and briefings supporting performance tracking and program effectiveness.
     
  • Assist in research protocol coordination and stakeholder engagement activities.
     
  • Support business process improvement initiatives within clinical operations.
     
  • Facilitate data validation, quality assurance, and documentation management.
     
  • Provide support for benchmarking and operational capability assessments.
     
  • Coordinate cross-functional collaboration among clinical, research, and administrative stakeholders.
     
  • Prepare executive-level presentations and formal documentation.
     

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Research Sciences, Business, or related field.
     
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in research analysis, healthcare operations, or program evaluation.
     
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
     
  • Experience supporting DoD, DHA, or federal healthcare environments preferred.
     
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
