  • Serve as a senior strategic advisor to business and IT leaders, guiding the definition of future-state capabilities across key business areas with a technical focus on modern system implementation
  • Lead and facilitate complex discovery sessions, workshops, and working groups with business leaders, SMEs, architects, developers, and testers to drive alignment on business outcomes, scope, and solution approach
  • Help define and communicate actionable platform and service vision, strategy, and roadmap to both business and delivery teams, collaborating closely to ensure design solutions deliver value to the end user and ensure timely, accurate project delivery.
  • Develop and document business requirements, personas, use cases, user journey mappings, wireframes or other needed documentation to facilitate discussions and document the platform.
  • Translate business strategy and operational needs into clear, outcome-oriented requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria aligned to modern enterprise platforms
  • Lead end-to-end analysis for large-scale initiatives, including core insurance system platforms, integrated services, (e.g., Duck Creek), enterprise data, and technical debt reduction and elimination
  • Partner with architects and delivery teams to ensure business intent is preserved in solution design, integrations, data flows, and downstream impacts
  • Guide solution refinement and backlog prioritization, ensuring alignment with enterprise roadmaps and overall modernization strategy
  • Actively manage requirement dependencies, tradeoffs, risks, and change impacts across multiple workstreams
  • Collaborate closely with QA and business testing teams to ensure solutions meet business objectives and support operational readiness
  • Mentor and coach Business Analysts, elevating analysis practices and setting standards for senior-level execution
  • Maintain current knowledge of insurance industry developments and stay updated with the latest trends and developments in the market.
  • Drive a culture of data-driven decision-making, operational insight, and continuous improvement
  • Communicate progress, risks, and recommendations clearly to executive-level stakeholders
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or equivalent experience required
  • 6+ years of progressive Business Analysis experience with Property/Casualty or Specialty insurance/financial services experience highly preferred
  • Ability to document complex requirements while enforcing technical, development, and process discipline to gain business consensus, and navigate complex legacy challenges.
  • Serves as a change agent, supporting adoption of new systems, processes, and business capabilities across the organization
  • Influences through data-driven storytelling and structured communication, ensuring alignment and clarity across diverse groups.
  • Proven experience supporting enterprise modernization initiatives, including core policy/claims platform transformations, legacy system migration, and business process re-engineering
