IT Business Analyst - Industrial Automation (Toptech Systems) Location: The Woodlands, TX (Onsite - 5 Days/Week) Type: Contract-to-Hire GC, USC Video Interview Toptech Systems (TMS6/TMS7), IT Business Analysis, industrial/terminal automation, requirements gathering, project management, stakeholder coordination, and onsite implementation support. An industrial automation systems integrator is seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to support a large-scale terminal automation initiative for a key client in The Woodlands, TX. This role will serve as a bridge between business operations and technical teams, translating business needs into technical requirements and driving Toptech Systems projects from planning through deployment. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead planning, execution, and delivery of Toptech Systems initiatives including site rollouts, upgrades, integrations, and enhancements
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements
  • Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and success criteria
  • Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst or IT Project Manager
  • Hands-on experience with Toptech Systems (TMS6, TMS7)
  • Experience supporting projects in industrial automation, terminal operations, or fuel logistics
  • Strong understanding of business-to-technical requirements translation
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional, multi-stakeholder projects
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, fully onsite environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in terminal automation or petroleum distribution environments
  • Working knowledge of SAP, Linux, SQL
  • Experience with Toptech Multiloads and FCMs
