Job description

Milacron is looking for a LPIM Sales -Technical Support Specialist to join our team in Batavia, Ohio. In this position, you will be responsible for supporting the LPIM sales process end to end, including applications engineering, proposal development, and cross-functional coordination to support both new machine sales and aftermarket opportunities.
Work You'll Do:
Support full sales cycle activities including application reviews, proposal prep, and post-sale customer support
Develop customer proposals and presentations, including CAD layouts for work cells and system concepts
Coordinate across engineering, production, service, and suppliers to support projects through startup
Assist with aftermarket requests including parts, retrofits, and upgrades
Partner with internal teams to support training, customer needs, and ongoing account success
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Plastics Technology
2-3 years of experience in a technical or sales support role with customer interaction
Background in plastics processing, injection molding, or related machinery
Experience with CAD tools and ability to support layout/design concepts
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Plastics-focused degree (examples: Ferris State, Penn State Erie, Shawnee State, similar programs)
Exposure to turnkey systems, automation, or auxiliary equipment
Interest in both technical engineering work and commercial/sales activities
Experience supporting proposals, applications engineering, or system-level solutions
