Job description

Description
Respite Managers are responsible for coordinating supports to the people at our designated respite site. They will supervise a team to ensure quality standards are met in the following core areas: home environment, medical and personal care, community involvement, and financial budgeting. Respite Managers carry out operational activities with their assigned team, and supervise the guests each weekend.
This is a high-energy, dynamic site with a lot of activity and different guests each weekend. Being adaptable is important, and working throughout the weekends is mandatory.
Schedule: Full time, Wednesday-Sunday
Wednesday/Thursday/Saturday/Sunday/ 9am-5pm.
Fridays 11am-7pm.
Must be flexible depending on the needs of the program.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma (or higher) with a minimum of three years of human service experience
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong time management skills required
  • Valid NYS Driver's License with at least one year of non-permit driving experience
  • Must have vehicle for personal use in this position
  • Ability to life 50 lbs.
  • Must be comfortable giving individuals direct care including assisting with personal hygiene tasks
