This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Respite Provider to spend time with an energetic teenage boy with special needs.  As a Respite Provider, you will be responsible for the teen's safety and well-being while allowing the main caregiver to take a break for self-care.  This teen enjoys being outdoors, carnivals/fairs, music, playgrounds, and swimming/water play.  

Wage: $17.66 per hour

Hours:
Up to 15 hours
3 pm - 6 pm, Monday through Friday
Potential for additional hours to provide backup coverage on weekends
Flexible scheduling
Summer respite schedule and hour to be determined by family

Responsibilities:
1:1 Constant Supervision 
Safety Awareness 
Assist in maintaining routine including ADL's (daily hygiene reminders/ assistance)
Community Outings
Meal/Snack preparation
Transportation to Community Outings and Appointments

Requirements:
Authorized to work in the U.S.
Criminal/Caregiver background check.
Valid Driver's license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance required
Experience working with non-verbal teens with autism 
Be detail oriented and prepared to give all attention to the teen
Ability to remain active & Be fast on your feet and ready to keep up!
