Job description

Company Overview

Docusign brings agreements to life. Over 1.5 million customers and more than a billion people in over 180 countries use Docusign solutions to accelerate the process of doing business and simplify people's lives. With intelligent agreement management, Docusign unleashes business-critical data that is trapped inside of documents. Until now, these were disconnected from business systems of record, costing businesses time, money, and opportunity. Using Docusign's Intelligent Agreement Management platform, companies can create, commit, and manage agreements with solutions created by the #1 company in e-signature and contract lifecycle management (CLM).

What you'll do

The Senior Technical Program Manager will lead and motivate our teams by introducing efficient processes, driving innovative and measurable solutions to maximize efficiency for team members, while working in unison with product development teams to create the best experiences for our customers. In this role, you will function as the central program leader responsible for driving the successful execution of complex, cross-functional technical programs that span multiple engineering teams, product areas, and go-to-market functions. You will own the integrated program schedule, manage the intricate web of cross-functional dependencies, and ensure end-to-end system readiness from inception through GA launch. You bring the technical depth to dive into specific engineering or product issues when needed, driving them to closure to unblock the program. This role will be responsible for managing programs of large scope, impact, and complexity through all phases of the life cycle. Duties and tasks are varied and complex, needing independent judgment, so the person needs to be fully competent in the area of Technical Program Management expertise.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Sr. Manager, Program Management.

Responsibility

  • Partner with Product and Engineering leaders across multiple teams to align roadmaps, delivery timelines, resource planning, and execution priorities

  • Serve as the central coordination point for complex cross functional initiatives, driving alignment across Product, Engineering, Operations, GTM, Compliance, Legal, and other stakeholder groups

  • Define end to end program structures, identify participating teams, and manage cross functional dependencies to ensure successful delivery

  • Own integrated program plans and delivery milestones, maintaining visibility into schedules, risks, dependencies, and critical path activities

  • Proactively identify execution risks, develop mitigation plans, and drive resolution of issues that could impact delivery commitments

  • Lead launch readiness and operational readiness activities, partnering with stakeholders to ensure successful adoption and execution of new products, features, and organizational initiatives

  • Own centralized intake, prioritization, and governance processes, ensuring work is evaluated, routed, tracked, and communicated through appropriate decision making forums

  • Establish and drive program governance, reporting mechanisms, KPIs, and executive communications to provide visibility into portfolio health and execution progress

  • Communicate program status, risks, dependencies, and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership

  • Drive continuous improvement of processes, tools, and operating mechanisms to improve execution effectiveness, scalability, and organizational efficiency

  • Partner with teams to improve planning, execution, and delivery practices while promoting adoption of program management best practices

  • Lead complex initiatives that span multiple organizations, balancing competing priorities and driving alignment toward shared business outcomes

Preferred

  • Equally confident in working with executive team members as working with software developers
