Responsibilities:

  • Establish, refine, and report on program schedule, including management of individual workstream timelines, deliverables, and dependencies.
  • Facilitate team meetings for various program workstreams, ensuring deliverable progress is captured and driven to agreed upon timeline, and minutes from meetings are captured and shared as appropriate.
  • Manage financial tracking and planning for program expenses, including reconciliation of invoices against planned capital and operational expenses, tracking and maintenance of purchase requests against program workstream budgets, and updating budgets and cash flow forecasts.
  • Track deliverable status for data center, compute, network, storage, database, cloud, and security workstreams and manage past due items to closure
  • Summarize progress, compile materials, and lead program steering committee discussions, ensuring to raise risks and actions to the committee for decision in and support.
Desired experience, in addition to what you suggest for a person at this level, should likely include the following:
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams/projects at once - with ability to successfully navigate context switching between related but separate efforts.
  • Foundational understanding of the infrastructure and security domains, including exposure to compute, network, storage, data center, and security projects
  • Experience with disaster recovery or business continuity topics are a plus
    These are the skills you'll bring with you: Bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical field, and a minimum of ten years of work experience, and at least 5 years program related work experience. Must have excellent listening and persuasive skills to both understand and expedite where necessary. In addition, people skills must be used in handling stakeholders in a positive manner regardless of the situation. Ability to organize people, the ability to influence, and outstanding ability to communicate and facilitate. Proven knowledge and experience with formal project management, including use of project management tools. Must have good writing skills.
