Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

The RFP/Proposal Specialist (Proposal Analyst) will assist our Request for Proposal (RFP) process. The Associate will collaborate with the Senior Proposal Manager in the development and submission of high-quality proposals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Collaborate with the Senior Manager, Proposals in the end-to-end RFP process, ensuring timely completion and submission of high-quality proposals that align with company objectives and client requirements. This includes meeting the objectives and timelines set and ensuring effective communication and coordination throughout the proposal development process.
  • Partner with the Senior Manager, Proposals to gather relevant information and develop tailored, persuasive proposals with our cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product, and technical experts.
  • Complete proposal templates set up and insert boilerplate content to streamline the proposal process reducing the time and effort required to develop proposals.
  • With the guidance of the Senior Manager, Proposals, the Associate will maintain and expand the RFP response database, ensuring that all content is up-to-date, accurate, and engaging. This includes identifying and filling gaps in the database, regularly reviewing and updating content, and ensuring consistency and accuracy across proposals.
  • Support special projects as needed, including but not limited to marketing collateral and white papers to support the proposal and sales process.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related filed required or equivalent work experience required.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • At least 1-3 years Business /Marketing experience required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. RFP management software a plus but not required (e.g., RFPIO, InHub, Qvidian, Loopio, or similar).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively.
  • Must have strong organizational skills, and must be self motivated to drive tasks to completion, strong writing abilities, and possess a keen eye for detail to ensure the delivery of compelling proposals that drive business growth.
  • Demonstrated soft skills, including the ability to effectively interact, communicate, and work well as a team member with internal partners at all levels of the organization.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. Self starting and highly motivated is a must.
