To thrive as a Remote RFP Specialist, you need excellent written communication, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of proposal processes, often backed by a bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or a related field. Strategic Sourcing Specialist | Remote
Overview

We’re seeking a Technology Procurement / IT Sourcing Lead to own end-to-end sourcing and procurement activities for software and technology solutions. This person will drive vendor due diligence, contract analysis, RFP execution, and cross-functional coordination to ensure the right solutions are selected, evaluated, and onboarded efficiently.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead full-cycle sourcing efforts for technology and software procurement (intake, evaluation, selection, onboarding).
  • Conduct vendor due diligence, including reviewing and analyzing software contracts and key commercial terms.
  • Extract and summarize contract details (pricing, renewal/termination, SLAs, risk items) and coordinate submissions to architecture/technical evaluation teams.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, clarify use cases, and define selection criteria.
  • Manage vendor vetting, selection, and onboarding processes, ensuring alignment across business, technical, and procurement partners.
  • Support and execute RFPs specifically focused on technology solutions and software vendors.

What We’re Looking For
  • Strong background in technology procurement, IT sourcing, or software vendor management.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal oversight in a fast-moving environment.
  • Experience reviewing software contracts and supporting vendor negotiations.
  • Advanced Excel skills (analysis, comparisons, pricing models, vendor scorecards).
  • Proven experience running or supporting RFP processes for technology vendors.
