Job description

Location:
This is a 100% remote position. The position may be hybrid if the employee is local, in the San Diego, California region.

Hybrid work model: 60% on-site as needed, 40% remote.

General Summary:
The Project Scheduler leverages scheduling software to develop project plans and QA/QC, monitor, control, and update schedules according to project scope. This position is responsible for generating forecasts, variance reports, and additional documentation to monitor and manage projects.

Supervision Level:

  • Reports to Manager, Project Controls.
  • May be assigned to support program managers, project managers, or special project assignments.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare plans and schedules for multiple projects varying in scope and size.
  • Collect and analyze information used to plan and schedule projects.
  • Research and report on economic, legal, and additional factors impacting project success.
  • Partner with multiple stakeholders to gather deliverable statuses and updates.
  • Communicate timely and accurate updates (schedules, activity codes, constraints, logic, etc.).
  • Leverage Primavera (P6) scheduling software to manage project schedule statuses, develop project plans, and monitor deadlines and deliverables.
  • Perform what-if schedule scenarios and advanced schedule analysis.
  • Prepare detailed project reports, summaries, variance, and cost analysis reports; present to stakeholders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
