Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a remote Project Coordinator who can work PST hours to support one of our clients. This individual will focus heavily on invoicing, financial tracking, and documentation management while supporting multiple small IT projects. This is a true coordination role—not a PM position—and the client is looking for someone who wants to grow long-term in a Project Coordinator seat.
Responsibilities:
• Own and manage invoicing processes and financial tracking for projects
• Track budgets, forecasts, and costs to ensure project financial health
• Maintain and organize project documentation and deliverables
• Coordinate across multiple small IT projects simultaneously
• Gather documentation from stakeholders and ensure completeness
• Support the full project lifecycle:
○ Planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout
• Track risks, issues, and project updates; help implement mitigation plans
• Assist with project reporting, including status updates and portfolio reviews
• Lead or participate in project meetings and track action items
• Ensure all deliverables are completed on time and properly documented
• Build relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Assist with scope, schedule, and cost tracking/changes
Required Skills & Experience
• 3+ years of invoicing experience (non-negotiable, core function of role)
• Strong experience with:
○ Financial tracking (budgets, costs, reporting)
○ Documentation ownership and organization
• Experience supporting multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficiency with:
○ Microsoft Excel
○ SharePoint
• Experience with:
○ Forecasting
○ Budgeting
• Strong communication skills (written + verbal)
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Exposure to different types of IT or infrastructure projects
• Understanding of project lifecycle (initiation → close)
• Experience supporting project managers or project teams
• Familiarity with project tools (Trello, MS Project, etc.)
